What is $VETO?

$VETO is an upcoming memecoin on the Solana blockchain inspired by the red VETO hat President Donald J. Trump posted on Truth Social after Democrats won control of Congress in the November 3, 2026 midterm elections.

Why is it called VETO?

Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution lets the President reject bills passed by Congress. With Democrats taking the House and the Senate, the veto is the President's main check on the new majority, and Trump said he would become "Mr. Veto." The coin is named for that power.

Is $VETO affiliated with Donald Trump?

No. $VETO is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Donald J. Trump, the Trump Organization, the White House, or any campaign, PAC or political party.

When does $VETO launch?

Soon. The launch is announced on this site and our official channels, and the contract address is posted on this page first.

What is the $VETO contract address?

$VETO has not launched yet, so there is no contract address. Other tokens on Solana already use the VETO name, and none of them belong to this project. The real contract will be posted on this page at launch.
